NEWS: Huddersfield-based Insurance Broker, Eastwood & Partners Ltd is appealing for local residents to register and support their bid for a share of the Aviva Community Fund in aid of The Isaac Nash Trust Skate Park Campaign.
It is urging the local community to register before 30 May and use their 10 votes to help secure funding for the exciting new Highburton project.
Isaac Nash skate park public meeting at Highburton village Hall.
The skate park is in remembrance of Isaac Nash, a young Huddersfield boy who, at just 12 years old, tragically drowned off the coast of Anglesey whilst on a family holiday in August 2014.
Vicky Shaw, at Eastwood & Partners said: “Eastwood & Partners supports many local charities through fund raising and corporate events, however it’s not often that we get the opportunity to access the level of funding offered by The Aviva Community Fund.
"If we’re successful in our bid, The Isaac Nash Trust could secure as much as £25, 000 for their skate park project, but we really need people to vote before the competition closes on the 30 May.”
Those wishing to support the project should register and vote online at The Aviva Community Fund before 30 May.
But police have made a fresh appeal for anyone with information that could help the ongoing investigation to come forward.
