Riverfront Park

The Riverfront is a 100-acre park designed and built around Spokane Falls and along the edge of the Spokane River. The centerpiece of the World Fair Expo of 1974, this park is still one of the most beautiful places in Spokane to waste a few hours. The park has a carousel, an IMAX theatre, and a sky ride over the waterfalls. During the winter months the park transforms into an ice rink.

Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture

The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture consists of 5 underground galleries full of art and artifacts from the region, documenting the rich culture and history of the indigenous people who populated the area. This branch of the Smithsonian also includes the entire restored 1898 Campbell House and a large outdoor amphitheater for shows and events. Visitors can tour the galleries, the Campbell House (on select days) and shop and dine all within the ‘MAC’.
